The Vulcan is NOT appearing at the Bournemouth Airfestival. The Bournemouth Air Festival website has not been updated to reflect the current availability of the aircraft. The aircraft has been cancelled because of a technical malfunction – a fuel leak, which can not be repaired in time.

I recall seeing the mighty Vulcan at a Liberation Day Celebration over Guernsey many years ago – a truly magnificent full power display over St . Peterport seawards . Unfortunately another cancellation after last years bad weather with us again AND the cracked fuel tank will disappoint the Fans and Supporters at Bournemouth. Such a shame!

have just had an email from vulcan to the skys saying that it will not be at bournemouth airshow due to a leaking fule tank

cant wait to see this magnificent aircraft flying over the shoreline and witness the emense power generated by it 's 4 engines,the noise is ground shaking in it's powered climb almost verticall.
